The youngest ever WSOP champion crowned

eastgate_embed
Congratulations to Peter Eastgate, dubbed Icegate, for winning the 2008 World Series of Poker and taking home over $9 million in winnings. At age 22, he is the youngest ever to win this tournament, surpassing Phil Hellmuth’s 19 year mark.

It was an impressive victory for the young Dane, defeating Russian Ivan Demidov in heads-up action. Best of luck defending his crown next year.
